Press Release June 22, 2010

The last of the Pre-Events for the Miss Heritage Personality Pageant took place on Wednesday 21st July at the First Citizens Corporate Head Office in Port of Spain Trinidad.

The contestants and pageant coordinators were hosted by members of the First Citizens family to a day filled of financial advice, organisation history and mentorship.

The day began with an address by First Citizens Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Sharon Christopher who advised the ladies of the importance of education and pursuing a career in a field that they are truly passionate about; she later presented each of the girls with a copy of the First Citizens Story “On Becoming First”.

The Pageant beauties were also introduced to the General Manager Sekou Mark, who provided them with some insight into the world of Corporate Banking, as well as Business Development Officer Jason John, who provided valuable financial advice.

At the end, the contestants thanked First Citizens for their continued support and commitment to the Tobago Heritage Festival, particularly the Miss Heritage Personality Pageant. First Citizens is the 2nd largest sponsor in the 2010 Tobago Heritage Festival with an overall contribution of $125,000 towards the Festival and pre-event activities.
