First Citizens Celebrates its Graduates

Press Release July 23, 2010

On Thursday 22nd July, ten (10) First Citizens employees received an Executive Diploma in Business Management after successfully completing the Management Development Programme at the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business.

This programme has been recognised globally as a mechanism for building the performance and commitment of people within organisations, as well as fostering growth and progression of the business in a sustainable and competitive manner.

Professor Miguel Carrillo, Executive Director at the School, conducted the programme and commended each graduate on their achievement. He reinforced the sentiments expressed by First Citizens Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Sharon Christopher, who reminded the group that perseverance is the key to success.

In her welcome address Ms. Christopher stated that “Through perseverance, First Citizens emerged from being the lowest ranked financial institution in Trinidad and Tobago in 1993, to the third largest and the recipient of many awards including the prestigious Bank of the Year title from three internationally renowned magazines all in 2009.”

The First Citizens Group extends its congratulations to all the graduates of the Management Development Programme.
