First Citizens Supports 4 Nation Tournament

Media Release February 9, 2010

On February 8th 2010 First Citizens joined with the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation (TTFF) and other corporate sponsors to launch the 4 Nation Tournament at the Hyatt Regency, Port of Spain. The Group will contribute a total of $15,000.00 towards the tournament as well as provide media bibs for all media attending the matches.

The 4 Nation Tournament will comprise of 4 Under 17 Women’s Football teams from Canada, Jamaica, Mexico and Trinidad and Tobago competing in 6 games, on 3 days at the Mannie Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella. The games would be held on February 28th and March 3rd and 5th.

The tournament is aimed at creating hype and public awareness for both the National Under 17 Women’s Football team as well as the upcoming FIFA Under 17 Women’s World Cup being held in Trindad and Tobago later on this year.

First Citizens continues to demonstrate its commitment to not only sport but our youth, women and community by being involved in initiatives such as this. The Group takes this opportunity to wish all teams the best of luck and looks forward to welcoming fans at all matches.
