Participants of this league were present to celebrate their achievements in this tournament. Mr. Warren Sookdar, Chief Information Officer at First Citizens commended all the participants for accepting the challenge of this league and encouraged them to continue to persevere as this creates opportunities for students to excel on a personal level while representing their schools, clubs and country. He also acknowledged the achievements of our National Team at the Caribbean Islands Swimming Championships held in Cuba as they brought home the gold in the male under 16 and silver in the female under 16 and male under 19 categories. In his address, Mr. Sookdar noted that the National Team comprised of representatives from various schools who participated in the First Citizens National Secondary Schools Water Polo League, and that members of both under 16 teams had their first water polo experience through participation in the First Citizens National Primary Schools Mini Polo League. Top prizes for this year’s league went to St. Dominic’s Trade School and Dunross Preparatory School.
