First Citizens encourages young business

Media Release April 20, 2010

Woodford Square became the new mall in Port of Spain at the Annual Junior Achievement Trade Fair held recently. More than 30 secondary schools throughout the country gathered at the square to buy, sell and show off their unique creations.

As a responsible corporate citizen, First Citizens continues to assist in projects that encourage youth development. We applaud the continuous efforts made by Junior Achievement Trinidad and Tobago as they aim “to educate and inspire young people to succeed in a global economy”.

In this year’s trade fair, First Citizens has sponsored three companies – X (Infinity), Young Innovative Producers, and Junior Achievers Evolutionary Creators. We take this opportunity to congratulate all teams and remind them to practice the values of leadership and teamwork.
